Category: Boulder City Council Election: Where the Candidates Stand on 2025’s Biggest Issues
In the lead-up to the Nov. 4, 2025, election, Boulder Reporting Lab asked each of the 11 city council candidates to respond to our questionnaire. Based on the key issues shaping Boulder’s present and future, we identified six central topics: perspective and experience, homelessness and the city’s camping ban, wildfire mitigation and home hardening, housing supply, the council’s role on foreign affairs and budget priorities. We believe these answers will help readers better understand each candidate’s priorities, values and vision for Boulder. Every candidate responded, and their full answers are being published here as our 2025 city council candidate questionnaire.
