Jaquez Lewis, a licensed pharmacist, was first elected to the Colorado House in 2018 and then to the Colorado Senate in 2020. She has served on the Boulder County Board of Health and as president of Rocky Mountain Equality, an LGBTQ advocacy organization formerly known as Out Boulder County. She and her wife, Allison, live on a farm in unincorporated Boulder County. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy.
