Author Archives: Sophia Piña-McMahon

I am a freelance journalist and photographer as well as a Sustainable Food Systems graduate student in the Masters of the Environment program at CU Boulder. I cover stories at the nexus of food, culture, and the environment — with a particular emphasis on the local food and regenerative agriculture movements. Outside of my work in food systems storytelling, I am an avid runner, mountain biker, and film photographer and enjoy spending my free time on the Front Range trails.
