Category: Boulder City Council Election: Where the Candidates Stand on 2023’s Biggest Issues

In June 2023, Boulder Reporting Lab launched a reader-powered election project in which readers submitted questions for us to pose to city council and mayoral candidates ahead of the Nov. 7 city election. After reviewing hundreds of responses, we identified common themes and selected six questions covering homelessness, affordable housing, public safety, transportation and leadership. All 14 candidates responded, and their answers are being published here as our candidate questionnaire.
