The Boulder County District Attorney’s Office will formally file state charges — including attempted first-degree murder — on Thursday, June 5, against Mohamed Sabry Soliman, the suspect in the June 1 terror attack on Pearl Street, according to a news release. The hearing is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the Boulder County Jail courtroom and will be livestreamed on the Colorado Judicial Branch’s Case of Interest page.
Prosecutors now say 15 people were injured in the attack, up from the previously reported 12. Victims range in age from 25 to 88. One dog was also injured.
District Attorney Michael Dougherty said the office is working closely with federal and local partners and “stands with the Jewish community and the people of Colorado against hate and terror.”
The charges are part of a criminal complaint expected to be made public Thursday. A future court date will also be set during the hearing.
